New York's Finest.
Whenever I see something Produced by Bill Strobeck I always find it really interesting. I don't really know what it is it could because I feel like I get to see a behind the scenes of some of my favorite skaters or maybe it's because you get to see some unseen gems. The one reason I'm leaning towards the most though is because of the fact I get to see New York in the way I want to see it. Well anyway enough talk how about you just see for yourself.

Jump on Board The Bandwagon!

It seems like nowadays everyone wants to let the world know how their day was and where they were and show them pictures. None of their posts are relevant to anything and if it wasn't on the internet people probably wouldn't give two fucks about it. Well anyway here is my friend's blog his name is Wayne and he'll be showing you what kind of stuff we do in SJ on a daily basis not that you care right?

Bye Bye Brooklyn Banks!?!?!?!?

It doesn't look to good people. If you haven't already heard Come December, the Brooklyn Banks will be boarded up and transformed into a construction area for the Brooklyn Bridge rehabilitation project. Now there are talks about re-opening the Banks in 2014 but some are very much so against the idea.

The City That Never Sleeps..
Empire is a film about people having fun riding their bikes in the city. It is a group effort with Luke Stiles and Chris Thormann leading the charge. I've always been interested in New York and what the experience of riding there is like. Having never been there ever all I really have to go off of are videos and stories from friends who have been there. After seeing this it's officially one of two cities I must visit before I die. Amazing.

Music's Got Me Feelin So Free
So I came across something pretty interesting the other day some of you out there may know and some of you may not I know I didn't. Anyhow in 2003 Daft Punk came out with a full one hour Japanese animated film titled "Interstella 555." The film is the "visual realization" of the album Discovery by Daft Punk. Each track from the album has been animated as an episode in the story of the abduction and rescue of an interstellar pop band. The film was produced by the creators of the Discovery album, along with Toei Animation, under the supervision of Leiji Matsumoto. The film has no dialogue whatsoever and the whole story is told using only Daft Punk's Music and the visual to fit the track. It really is a work of art and if you have the time why not enjoy some good music and some optically pleasing artwork.
